It makes a squealing or other loud noise | - The power supply fan is failing and needs replacement. In most cases, the entire power supply must be replaced.

The fan is slow or does not spin at all | - The power supply fan is failing and needs replacement. In most cases, the entire power supply must be replaced.

- Any of the fans listed above are dirty and need to be cleaned.

The PC freezes or shuts itself off unexpectedly | - The system may be overheating because of inadequate cooling. Check that all cooling fans are working properly.
